KITS First Aid Training Courses West Yorkshire - First Aid Requalification/Refresher

AIM

To ensure that the individual, training and qualifications of First Aiders meets the required standard in accordance with the First Aid Regulations as stated and described by the Health and Safety Executive.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES - DAY 1
Sessions on:

Administration - Check Dates on Current FAAW Certificates
Principles & Priorities of First Aid
Respiratory System
Asphyxia/Hypoxia and Cardiac Arrest
Mouth to Mouth Resuscitation and CPR
Unconscious Patient
Control of Haemorrhage

GENERAL OBJECTIVES - DAY 2
Sessions on:

Burns & Scalds
Fractures
First Aid Kits & Personal Hygiene
Practical Techniques

The Examination on Day 2 will consist of a Practical Assessment of their Skills & Knowledge on the following:

ASSESSMENTS ON:

Unconscious Patient
Control of Hemorrhage
Practical C.P.R - Adult, Child & Baby
Oral Assessment Questions
