AIMS
This 3-day course is aimed at delegates who need to understand the principles of health and safety as part of their job (e.g. Team Leaders, Supervisors, HR professionals and facilities managers). The course meets the requirements of the NEBOSH Health & Safety at Work qualification.
OBJECTIVES
This qualification will provide you with an understanding of the principles of health and safety and ensure supervisory staff can apply the principles of risk assessment and control of common workplace hazards.
It will also benefit organisations who are seeking to implement a health and safety management system.

• Hazards and control associated with manual handling and repetitive movement

• Hazards and control associated with working environment
• Assessment - one hour multiple choice exam
Unit 2 - HSW2 Workplace Risk Assessment
• Workplace-based risk assessment activity
• Assessment - one hour practical assessment carried out in the candidate's own workplace
