Short Course Discount - KITS offers a 10% discount to members for all short courses that it provides (except where there are nationally agreed rates).

Conference Centre Room Hire - KITS offers a 10% discount to members for Conference Centre room hire in relation to any business or social event that the company wishes to hold.

Apprenticeship Recruitment - All KITS members have the opportunity to be represented at school career evenings and conventions. KITS members can also access KITS proven recruitment processes which include aptitude testing, interviews etc.

Access to Funding - KITS maintains up-to the-minute information in liaison with LSC, ESF and other funding providers on grants available. KITS will provide the forms, the contacts and the advice on how to apply for funding for specific projects.

Annual Visit - A KITS training adviser will make an annual visit in order to complete a ‘training health check’ and a half-day opportunity to discuss training requirements and a plan for the year ahead.

Health and safety Appraisal - Every three years, companies with trainees will be given a full Health and Safety appraisal. This also gives member companies the opportunity to discuss any Health and Safety issues.

Annual General Meeting - All member companies are invited to the KITS annual general meeting, which gives an opportunity to meet other members and ‘have your say’ on how KITS is being run.

KITS develops and maintains accreditation with the local LSC; City and Guilds, OCR (lead body for administration and commercial NVQs), NEBS Management, Client /Contractor National Safety Group, SEMTA (lead body for engineering NVQs).

KITS is in regular contact with universities, Techniocal Colleges, Awarding Bodies (EMTA, OCR etc., specialist training providers to ensure the best advice is available.
