KITS Join Forces with THP to offer Employment Law, HR Advice and Health & Safety Services

KITS has joined forces with The Howarth Partnership Ltd (THP) to provide a rounded service to their combined client base. In addition to the Health & Safety advice and services through our Competent Person Service, KITS can now sign-post customers seeking advice on employment law and HR advice which will be provided by THP.

Both organisations acknowledge that it can be very difficult to keep up with the ever-increasing demands placed upon businesses in relation to Health & Safety matters, and seeking professional advice can be daunting. By combining forces, KITS and THP will be able to provide a wide ranging service with KITS providing an initial Health & Safety assessment free of charge.

Current Health & Safety legislation states: ‘Adequate competent persons must be employed to assist the employer comply with legislation’. This should preferably be an internal source, however due to the ever increasing demands being placed on companies it is recognised that it is not feasible to employ a full time employee to ensure compliance with legislation or to overburden an existing employer with more responsibility.

KITS Competent Person Service (CPS) answers this issue. Having a dedicated team with over 70 years experience in Health & Safety and Management, KITS provide advice on all issues pertaining to Health & Safety and offers Occupational Health screening and advice as required. The CPS programme attempts to relieve you of the worry of trying to interpret the latest rules and regulations allowing you to concentrate on the other priorities of your own job. Your in-house personnel may well have generalist knowledge but in many cases, specialist knowledge of Health and Safety is required.

What can KITS offer?
KITS will benchmark your company against the key requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and other legislation appertaining to your company and, advise you on how best to be fully compliant against the prerequisites associated with your business.
