AIMS & OBJECTIVES:
The CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal aims to refresh the delegates’ knowledge of a range of health and safety matters that could be encountered to enable them to continue to work on site with reduced risk to themselves and others, and the continued development of a positive health and safety culture.
Possession of a current and valid card is a requirement for many clients who employ contractors on their sites. The Renewal course must be taken at the end of the three validity period, with 3 months leeway either side of the expiry date.
Module 1 Overview of H&S Framework in the UK
Legislation, guidance and enforcement
Module 2 Accident / Incident causation and individual behaviours
Hazard and risk, injury incidence rates and the impact of individual behaviours, attitudes to safety
Module 3 Safe systems of work
Elements of SSOW, risk assessments, permits to work
Module 4 common workplace hazards and controls
Hazardous substances, asbestos, PPE, work equipment, work at heights, HAVS, vehicles, safety signs and more
Examination: Multiple choice test after module 3 and module 4
