Our introductory course is the first level of courses offered by us and accredited by the CIEH.
This course teaches the importance of basic food hygiene and helps workers meet the basic training requirement regulations.
This course is suitable for anyone who prepares, handles and serves food in the work place.
It looks at accident causes and prevention, gives and understanding of Risk Assessment and control and their place within the work situation.
On completion of the course the delegate will meet the legislative requirement for food handling and will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the following:
- Principals of food hygiene
- Food poisoning
- Hazard Analysis
- Temperature Control
- Personal Hygiene
- Stock Control and Preservation
- Pest Control
