The number of vehicles on the roads in the UK is continuing to rise, with less people buying new cars. This allows for more young people to train as an Apprentice in the Motor Vehicle industry.
Kirkdale Industrial Training Services offer a variety of automotive disciplines ranging from Light Vehicle to Heavy Vehicle, which include Auto Electrical and Fast Fit routes.
The Apprenticeship will cover essential knowledge, skills and behaviours required for each individual programme. KITS will work closely with you to plan and deliver appropriate support and training. As an Apprentice, you will learn mainly on the job, but training in the KITS Skills Training Centre and one-to-one tutoring are a key part of the new Apprenticeship Standards, not just assessment, with more time on tutoring as part of the 20% off-the-job training.
Upon completion of your Apprenticeship there are a number of options for your career. You could consider progressing into technical, supervisory or managerial roles within the motor industry.
